When choosing a cover for upholstered furniture, the customer can decide according to several criteria. In addition to the aesthetic requirements that the upholstery fabric should complement the interior in colour and pattern, it is important to consider the quality, abrasion resistance, colour fastness and cleaning method. Upholstery fabrics are made of various natural materials, e.g. cotton, wool, linen, or chemical fibres, polyester, polyamide, or a combination of several types.
All our upholstery fabrics are high quality, with colour fastness and abrasion resistance, which is indicated in the Martindale scale. For normal household use, the Martindale value should be at least in the range of 25,000 – 40,000 cycles. The higher the number, the more resistant the fabric is to external abrasion.
The offer includes monochrome and multicolour plain fabrics, jacquards, gilets, microfibres, velour. Some fabrics have a special non-staining Teflon treatment, which protects the coating of the product against common dirt and allows it to be easily cleaned when spilling coffee, wine, tea.
We buy upholstery leather mainly from Italian and Dutch suppliers. You can choose from high quality aniline, semi-aniline and pigmented cowhide upholstery leathers.
Our collection of fabrics and leathers is regularly adjusted to match current trends in pattern, texture, quality and colour. You will find our classic range of upholstery fabrics on the website, but we can offer you additional collections of upholstery fabrics and leathers when you visit us in person.
We also offer special fabrics for outdoor furniture or flame retardant fabrics for specific interior orders and hotel facilities.
THE MEANING OF THE SYMBOLS USED FOR CERTAIN FABRICS
AQUA CLEAN technology
The AQUA CLEAN technology used by the fabrics of the Amara, Nordic collection makes it possible to remove accidental everyday stains, wine, coffee, food, etc. using only water.
Water cleaning procedure:
- Remove excess stain from the cover.
- Apply water to the stain either directly or with an absorbent wet cloth, avoiding soaking the fabric. Wait a few seconds.
- Then the spot should be rubbed gently with a cloth until the stain disappears.
EASY CLEAN
EASY CLEAN, Quick CLEAN fabric treatment technology prevents the fabric from absorbing "wet" stains, which prevents them from penetrating into the fabric. Using a paper cloth or cloth, you can quickly remove the spilled liquid (coffee, tea, wine). Then, use a damp cloth to remove its residue. The cloth should be rinsed regularly in clean water while cleaning the stain.
